Christmas Giving 2020

As we continue to be salt and light in our world, you are invited to join with our PBC family to give this Christmas. This year our Christmas giving will support the work of Baptist World Aid, and more locally, the work of our Park Ministry team. If you are in a position to give, you are welcome to select from any or all of the options below.

Homeless Ministry Gifts

As a church we want to fully embrace meaningful Christmas practices that reflect the true significance of the season. The coming of Jesus into our world as Emmanuel ‘God with us’ wonderfully demonstrates the love of God towards all people. As part of our Park Ministry that serves lunch each Sunday, we are want to bless each of our Homeless friends in Prince Alfred Park with a gift this Christmas.

If you would like to help out or donate toward Christmas Lunch in the Park on Sunday 20 December please email Ken Eastwood:

If you would like to give a gift to one of our park friends, use the box to the right (ignore the price – it’s just part of the form).

Indicate whether you would like to purchase a gift for a male or female and how many and complete the form with your details.

Then (for each gift you registered) fill a gift bag with items from the suggestion list below to the value of $40. Attach a gift card to the bag addressed to either a brother or sister and express your love for them this Christmas. Return the bag to the PBC office or foyer by Sunday 13 December.

Here are some gift ideas:

Baptist World Aid

We are supporting two initiatives from Baptist World Aid this year.  The first is ‘Big Hearted Gifts’ and the second is ‘Disaster Relief’. You can give by clicking on the images below.

Choose a Big Hearted Gift to give to people you love this Christmas and empower a family in need.

You can select and order your gift cards directly through Baptist World Aid.

Your one off gift will help communities prepare for disasters, provide emergency relief during a disaster, and rebuild lives after a disaster in places like Lebanon, Bangladesh, Kenya, Malawi and Nepal.

Right now, gifts to the disaster relief fund are being used to support our project partners handle the pandemic and the flow on effects.
