In this season of Lent, we have been reflecting on the passages in the Gospel of Luke where Jesus speaks about his death. Each passage makes it clear that the cross was chosen by Jesus. Each passage also reveals an aspect of Jesus’ authority and divinity, which makes the path that he chooses to walk even more significant in its meaning. May we each find time over this coming week to pause, reflect and give thanks to God for His love that is revealed to us in Jesus Christ.
