Children & Families
Kids’ Church runs at both the 8:45am and 10:45am Sunday services during school terms. There is a pre-school group for children 3-5 years old, and a primary school group for children in kindergarten to year 4 at school (see the “youth” section for information on our Sunday morning program for year 5 to 8’s).
Our aim is to provide a fun environment in which to introduce children to the person and teachings of Jesus, and to nurture them in their worship and relationship with Him.
Livewires is for under 3 year olds which runs at the same time as Kids’ Church during the 8:45am and 10:45am services on Sunday. When kids go out to Kids’ Church, parents can bring their under 3’s to the Child Care Centre and sign them in. Carers are rostered on each week to look after your children.
During school holidays (when Kids’ Church is in recess) Livewires runs for children aged 0-5 years of age.
Playtime is for children from birth to school-age and their parent or carer. Our Playtimes are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 10:00am-12:00pm in the church auditorium. The aim of playtime is to provide support for parents and fun socialising skills for kids within a caring environment. Activities for children include craft, games, singing, story times and interactive play. For adults there is time to connect and talk together over morning tea.
Every July school holidays we run a holiday program for school aged kids (ages 5-12). It is a wonderful experience for kids to learn more about the love God has for them and is a fun-filled week that culminates in a Friday night celebration for the whole family to enjoy. Cool crafts, challenges, games, dramas, songs, bible stories and much much more…
