A statue does NOT move! Show off your best moves while the music plays but when it stops – FREEZE! You are now a statue! The musical director must then check if all statues are really statues by trying to make them move…

The idea that what we think is best doesn’t always match up to what God thinks is best is a difficult one to understand and important for addressing questions such as “Why didn’t God heal…?” or “Why doesn’t God answer my prayer for…?”
Use the questions below to get the kids thinking and sharing:

- How do you think God feels when things don’t turn out the way you hoped?
- Why doesn’t God always do what we want Him to do?
