This term we are going to be looking at Growing to be more like Jesus.

PLAY

Spot that Change!

Choose one person to be the “changer”.

Let everyone else study the “changers” appearance for 3 seconds.

Ask the “changer” to leave the room out of sight.

While out of sight the “changer” must change three things about his/her appearance (pull a sock down, change watch from one wrist to another, unbutton a button, etc.)

When the person enters, the others must figure out what three things changed.

Continue this for several rounds.

TALK

Our inner attitudes (the way we think) changes the way we act.

• Think about what you know of how Jesus lived…talk about what you think some of his attitudes might have been by the way he acted.

MAKE

As we start off the term it would be great to make a chart that you are going to add to each week with little pictures and bits of our memory verses. I made mine out of a big cereal box and put a pipe cleaner handle on to hang it by. You could do the same or you could use half a sheet of the big cardboard you buy at the newsagent.

Colour in our heading- I’m growing to be Like Jesus and stick our first line of Philippians 2:5-9 on it. You will find them here.

MEMORY VERSE CHALLENGE

We start off with Philippians 2 :5-9- I’ve just given you the first line. You might like to look it up in a Bible.
