We return to the metaphor of "the table", this time exploring how Jesus made the table a place of invitation to and inclusion in the Kingdom of God. By making this invitation, Jesus was criticised as a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners. Over these 4 weeks we land back in the gospels, seeking to be reminded of the call that Jesus makes upon our lives to be salt and light to those around us.
