WORSHIP TEAM ONBOARDING

PBC WORSHIP

Thanks for your interest in joining our worship teams at PBC. The process to join us is relatively simple and is laid out on this page in 6 steps:

1 – SPEAK WITH A WORSHIP PASTOR

The worship pastor is the point person in your onboarding. Express your interest in joining the band to them and you will be able to explore the different roles on our worship team and expectations behind each role. You can view the role descriptions of each role below:

2 – COMPLETE PAPERWORK

As someone serving at PBC, we need you to complete the following 3 documents:

4 – GET ELVANTO

Now is the time to make sure you have an ‘elvanto account with PBC. If you don’t have an account, please contact admin@parramattabaptist.com so we can set this up for you.

ELVANTO is the platform where you be able to: see our team roster, communicate unavailabilities & see upcoming services (including access to songs & sheet music to practice). So please make sure that you:

5 – JOIN US!

On the weeks when you are rostered, come join us.

What if I can’t make it?
If you can’t make it, let our worship pastor know ASAP and if possible organise a person to swap with on the roster.

Practice
If you are on the band, you should be able to access the songs during the week to practice well for Sunday.

Times
On the Sunday, the timing of the day will look like the following:

PM SERVICES

3.00pm – Sound team arrive (set up gear)
3.30pm – Rehearsal time
(Band arrives earlier to set up, computer operator arrives to prepare service)
5.30pm – Service starts
7.00pm – Pack up
