This term we are going to be looking at Growing to be more like Jesus.

PLAY

Sock it to me!

Equipment- rolled up socks….quite a few, some string or wool

Set up a play area with two teams…separate the area using the wool or string on the floor. One team up one end and the other up the other but make a No Go Zone in the middle where no one is allowed to step while play is underway.

On GO you can start throwing rolled up socks at the other team and you get a point if you hit someone. If some socks land on your side you can use them to throw but no one allowed in No Go Zone even if socks are there. Someone yells out PEACE after a set time and you must drop all socks and run to No Go Zone and shake hands with other team.

TALK

• What is a peacemaker?
• How was Jesus our peacemaker?
• Pray about what you shared about reflecting God’s peace to those at school, home, work and with friends

MAKE

• Make some paper chain people for your mirror.

Write this Be-Attitude on them.

Blessed are the Peacemakers for they will be called Children of God

• For this Be –attitude  add to your chart our little person as well as our new verse
• Make a bracelet like Lynn and Annette
