The Promise

Genesis 1–11 provides answers to the questions of “What is the purpose of life?”, “How did life begin?”, and “Is there a God, and if so, what is that God like?”. It also leaves us with the question, “How will God restore the relationships that were broken?” Continuing in Genesis 15–16, Steve is speaking on how God’s promise to restore his relationship with creation is confirmed through his covenant with Abram. Even when Abram and Sarai struggle to trust God’s timing, God remains faithful to his promise. Over the coming weeks leading into Christmas, we will continue to look at the promise made to Abram and God’s faithfulness in keeping that promise.
