At the start of his letter to the Christians in Colossae, Paul reminds them that everyone and everything is under the lordship of Jesus. All things were created through Jesus and for Jesus. Jesus is before all things, sustains all things and has reconciled all things to himself. Therefore, we are called to set our hearts and our minds on Jesus, knowing that our life is hidden with him, safe with him.
