Application Process
Thank you for your willingness to serve at PBC. Each person's contribution towards seeing others lives transformed for the Gospel is so valuable. In order to serve at PBC, each person must go through an Application and Screening Process, which we have tried to make as easy and streamlined as possible, while seeking to fulfil good Safe Church requirements. The process is as follows:

Speak to the Ministry Leader
Discuss with them about your desire to join their ministry team and serve, and they will be able to tell you about what the role entails, and provide you with a copy of the Role Description, which is important for the Application Process and in helping you understand the role.
Fill out the Application Form
All volunteers must complete the Application Form as part of the Safe Church Requirements. It will collect information about you and the role you are seeking to volunteer in. On the Application Form, it will refer to information found on the Role Description (such as Role you are applying for and, Category of the Role).
Complete Screening Requirements
Once you submit the Application Form, it will automatically redirect to a page which outlines the screening requirements you need to complete for that role, taking into account those that you have previously completed. It will also provide links to the relevant forms for completion. Please complete these ASAP.

Await Approval
Once you have completed the Application Form and all screening requirements, the Operations Team will process it and let you and the Ministry Leader know you have been approved and they will commence any required induction process for the particular ministry.
Forms to complete (everyone)
Through the Volunteer Application Form process (linked above), you will be redirected to a page that outlines the forms that you need to complete, taking into consideration those that you have previously completed. Below are the 3 forms that need to be completed for all categories of roles (i.e. Code of Conduct, Referee Nomination Form, and Screening Form).
Please only click the links below if you have been directed to by the Operations Team or a Ministry Leader (otherwise please complete the Volunteer Application Form above which will provide the appropriate links for the forms you need to complete).
If you require printed/hardcopy version of the forms for you to fill out, please contact us and we will assist you.

Working With Children Check (WWCC)
Any Adults who work or volunteer in ministries to Children (Role Category 1a and 2a) are required to hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC) and have it verified by PBC prior to being able to serve.
